Bahama Breeze Beef Empanadas

Add chopped onion and bell pepper; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic, cumin, and paprika; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground beef; cook until browned, breaking it apart, about 7-10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper; remove from heat and stir in chopped cilantro and lime juice.
Let the filling cool slightly before assembling empanadas.
Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut dough into circles using a cutter or glass.
Place a spoonful of beef filling and a sprinkle of cheese in the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape; crimp edges to seal.
Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Serve warm with hot sauce on the side.
