Servings4
4 ripe green bananas
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1

Peel the green bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.

2

Boil the banana halves in salted water for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

3

Remove the bananas from the water and let them cool for a few minutes.

4

Using a flat surface, gently flatten each banana half with a heavy object or a flat-bottomed pan.

5

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

6

Fry the flattened bananas in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

7

Remove the fried bananas and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
