20 tbsp. warm water
1 onion
1 smoked tuna or tuna can
1 tuna can
1 lime (or to taste)
1 chilli (or to taste)
8 curry leaves or 1 1/2 tsp paste
½ tsp. grated ginger
½ cup grated coconut
¼ tsp. turmeric powder
1 tuna can large
Salt to taste

Slice the onion, githeyo mirus and curry leaves thinly if using.

Mix smoked tuna, chilli and ginger in mixer.

In a bowl, mix the sliced onions together with the lime and curry leaves.

Drain the tuna can and mix with the rest of the ingredients.

Add salt to taste.

Make balls from the mixture.

Take a small dough piece and roll it into a ball and then flatten it.

Place tuna balls in the piece of dough. Close it and roll it into a ball.

Repeat until you run out of dough and tuna mixture.

Heat the oil in a pot.

When frying, keep the heat on high.

Fry the gulha until they take on that nice golden colour. Ensure that all the sides are fried.
