In a pot, add oil, sliced onion and curry leaves. On low heat, stirring occasionally, sauté onions till tender and lightly browned.

Once onions are tender and lightly browned, add grinded chilli paste mixture and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Add plain rihaakuru (Maldivian tuna paste), and cook further 4-5 minutes until well combined.

Turn off the heat. Do stir 2-3 times after turning off the heat. Let it cool down before transferring it to jar.
