Add 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup (or tomato paste if preferred).
Add crushed black pepper and stir briefly to absorb the seasonings.
Add 1.5 cups of soup stock (any flavor: pork, chicken, or beef) and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the carrots (or red bell pepper if preferred).
Add the egg noodles and stir until they absorb the broth.
Increase the heat if desired but stir occasionally.
Once the noodles are moist, add the blanched broccoli and stir to combine.
Continue stirring until the noodles absorb all the sauce and are well combined.
Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy the shrimp broccoli noodles.
