Fresh tuna is leaner, while sardines are often less expensive.

Drain the canned solid tuna and break it up in a bowl.

Make a dressing by mixing mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yogurt, sour cream, capers, diced red onion, garlic, dill, hot sauce, salt, and cracked black pepper.

Mix the dressing until well combined and adjust to taste.

In a large bowl, add some of the dressing to the bottom.

Add the drained tuna to the bowl.

Chop celery, bell peppers, and fennel into very small pieces and add to the tuna.

Mix everything together with more dressing as needed.
