1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon powdered sugar

1 tablespoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon dried pomegranate seeds
1 teaspoon amchur
1 tablespoon ginger
4 cloves garlic
2 green chilies
2 medium tomatoes
2 cups chickpeas
1 cup water

In a bowl, add refined flour.

Add pre-cooked chickpeas and some water; cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on low to medium flame.

Divide the bhature dough into lemon-sized balls and keep covered.

Roll out each ball into a flat circle, then fry in hot oil until puffed and golden.
