½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp. minced garlic
¼ cup sliced onions
200 g chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. shrimp paste
3 pcs. whole eggs
4-6 cups cooked rice
2 tbsp. sliced red chillies
¼ cup sliced leeks

Heat cooking oil in a large wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Add minced garlic and sliced onions; sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Stir in sliced red chillies and leeks; cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and add beaten eggs; scramble until just set.

Add cooked rice to the wok, breaking up any clumps; stir to combine with vegetables and eggs.

Pour in soy sauce and brown sugar; mix thoroughly until rice is evenly coated.

Add thinly sliced chicken breast and shrimp paste; cook until chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
