In a large bowl, combine minced chicken and minced prawn, mixing until sticky.
Add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, garlic, 2 tablespoons black pepper, and 2 tablespoons coriander root to the meat mixture and mix well.
Knead the mixture for about 10 minutes until well combined.
Let the mixture rest for 10-15 minutes to absorb flavors.
Prepare the steamer with boiling water.
Take a wonton wrapper, place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center, and wrap it.
Place sliced carrot on top of the wrapped dumpling before steaming.
Steam the dumplings for about 10 minutes.
