2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp garlic, minced
2 chicken thighs, chopped into strips
1 egg, beaten
1 cup cooked plain white rice
3 tsp sweet Indonesian soy sauce
1/2 cup cabbage, finely shredded
1/2 cup beans
1/4 cup carrots, finely shredded
1/4 bell pepper, cut fine
tofu (optional)
sambal (to taste)
salt
black pepper
red chili powder (for egg)

Heat 2 tbsp of oil and 2 tbsp of butter in a skillet until melted.

Add 2 tbsp of minced garlic and cook briefly.

Add 2 chopped chicken thighs and cook until they turn white.

Add 1 beaten egg and mix it in until cooked.

Add 1 cup of cold, cooked plain white rice and mix well.

Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add 3 tsp of sweet Indonesian soy sauce and mix until the rice is coated.

Add 1/2 cup of finely shredded cabbage, 1/2 cup of beans, 1/4 cup of finely shredded carrots, and 1/4 bell pepper, and mix.

Add tofu if desired and mix again.

Add sambal to taste and give a final mix before turning off the flame.

Fry an egg in a little oil in a separate skillet, seasoning with salt and red chili powder if desired.

Plate the fried rice and place the fried egg on top, garnishing with additional sambal if desired.
