2 tablespoons ghee

Melt 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pot.

Add 1 dry red chili and 1 bay leaf along with whole spices (3 cloves, 4 green cardamoms, 2 sticks cinnamon, 1 black cardamom) and fry for a minute.

Add 6 sliced shallots and fry for 3-4 minutes.

Add 200 grams of gobindo bhog rice and fry well to coat the grains in ghee.

Add 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala powder, and stir well.

Add a handful of green peas and stir the pot.

Pour in 1 pint of homemade crab stock and saffron water; add more water if needed and salt to taste.

Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes or until the rice is tender.

Open the lid and add boiled white and brown crab meat and crab eggs; mix well.

Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

Add 2 teaspoons of sugar and mix well.
