How To Make Fried Fish

Start by preparing the seafood batter mix according to the instructions on the back of the box.

Take 2 eggs and place them in a Ziploc bag.

Add a little bit of water to the eggs (1/4 cup for each pound of fish).

Squish the Ziploc bag to mix the eggs and water together.

In a separate bag, add the seafood batter mix.

Heat about a finger and a half of oil in a skillet on medium-high heat, aiming for about 300 degrees.

Dredge the white fish fillets in the egg mixture, allowing excess to fall off.

Shake the fish in the batter mix to coat it evenly.

Carefully place the coated fish fillets top side down into the hot oil.

Fry the fish for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown on each side.

While the fish is frying, prepare another piece of fish to cook in the air fryer.

Place one piece of fish in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Check the fried fish for a golden brown color before removing it from the oil.

Remove the air-fried fish once it is crispy and golden brown.
