1 cup string beans, trimmed
2 cups pumpkin, cubed
1 cup okra, sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
1 lb salt beef, soaked and shredded
1 lb pigtail, cut into pieces
1/4 teaspoon saffron
1 cup coconut milk
1 lemon, juiced
4 cups water
1 teaspoon salt

Soak chicken in lemon juice to remove freshness.

Boil salt meat (pigtail and salt beef) with a piece of lemon until tender to reduce saltiness.

Prepare breadfruit by cutting it into quarters and removing the guts.

Clean and cut green bananas, carrots, string beans, and okra into large chunks.
