Honey is a natural sweetener.

Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a small frying pan.

Add 1 diced apple, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to the pan.

Mix and let the apples cook down on medium low heat for about 3 minutes.

Once the apples are soft, place them in your serving bowl and cover to keep warm.

In the same pan, melt another teaspoon of butter.

Add 1/4 cup of quick oats, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the pan.

Mix with a spatula and cook on low heat for 3 minutes until crisp.

Add the oat mixture on top of the apples in the serving bowl.

Serve with a scoop of classic vanilla ice cream.
