Traditionally enjoyed during festivals and gatherings, these skewers are a celebration of flavor, combining marinated meat with vibrant vegetables. Today, this dish has gained popularity beyond Panama, often found at barbecues and outdoor events across Central America.

Soak the skewers in water, ensuring the ends are submerged to prevent burning on the grill.
Thread pieces of marinated beef onto the skewers carefully.
Preheat the grill or pan to high heat.
Place the skewers on the grill, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
Cook the skewers without moving them for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Check for doneness by observing the color change on the top; when it changes, flip the skewers.
Cook until nicely browned on both sides, ensuring not to dry out the meat.
Serve with a cold Coca-Cola as a refreshing accompaniment.
