1

Welcome to Cook with Ling. Today, I'm making an easy garlic shrimp recipe with broccoli.

2

Use over 10 ounces of cleaned shrimp.

3

Dice one small piece of red bell pepper to complement the garlic.

4

Chop lots of garlic and prepare green onions for garnish.

5

Make a slurry with 1 teaspoon of potato starch (or corn starch) and 1/4 cup of water.

6

Heat up some avocado oil in a pan.

7

Add the shrimp to the pan and some chopped garlic. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are pink.

8

Season the shrimp with a little salt while cooking.

9

Remove the shrimp from the pan once cooked.

10

Add a little more oil to the pan, followed by the diced red bell pepper and lots of garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.

11

Add 2 teaspoons of oyster sauce to the pan.

12

Pour in some water and wait until it boils.

13

Combine the cooked shrimp back into the pan.

14

Add chopped green onions for color and flavor.

15

Thicken the sauce with the slurry, turning the heat down.

16

If you feel you don't have enough sauce, add more water to the pan.

17

Once everything is combined and heated through, serve with pre-cooked broccoli.
