1 small onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely diced
1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup spring onions, chopped
1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

Separate the leaves of the iceberg lettuce and wash them gently. Pat dry and set aside.

2

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

3

Add the minced garlic and onion to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant and the onion is translucent.

4

Add the minced pork to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through.

5

Stir in the diced carrot and chopped water chestnuts, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the carrot is tender.

6

Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to the mixture, stirring well to combine.

7

Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

8

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped spring onions and coriander.

9

To serve, spoon the pork mixture into the lettuce leaves, folding them like cups.

10

Enjoy immediately as a fresh and crunchy appetizer.
