1

Welcome to the episode and introduction of the dish.

2

Gather all ingredients needed for the recipe.

3

Heat peanut oil in a frying pan.

4

Add chopped brown onion and brown it.

5

Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until aromatic.

6

Add pork mince to the pan, cooking on high for about 2-3 minutes until it turns white.

7

Once the pork is slightly pink, add all the chopped vegetables and cook for another 3-4 minutes on high heat until softened.

8

In a small bowl, mix corn flour with 1 tablespoon of water until there are no lumps to thicken the sauce.

9

Add mirin or cooking wine, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, and oyster sauce to the corn flour mixture and stir.

10

After 2-3 minutes of cooking the meat and vegetables, add the sauce mixture to the pan and cook for another 1-2 minutes on high until the sauce becomes glossy and thick.

11

Prepare the iceberg lettuce by pulling out the inner leaves to use as cups.

12

Demonstrate a quick way to separate the leaves without breaking them by pinching the base and tearing them off.

13

Fill the lettuce cups with 2-3 heaped teaspoons (about a quarter cup) of the pork mixture.

14

Top with roasted peanuts and chili if desired.
