1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 carrot, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lb spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
