1

Prepare 600 grams of crab and marinate it with 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder and 1/2 tablespoon salt for 15 minutes.

2

Heat a kadai (wok) on gas and add 3-4 tablespoons of mustard oil.

3

Fry the potatoes with a pinch of salt and a pinch of turmeric powder until golden brown, then remove them from the kadai.

4

In the same kadai, add 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the crab until its color changes.

5

Chop 3 medium-sized onions, 1 large tomato, and 3 green chilies into small pieces for grinding.

6

In the kadai, add the onions and fry until they turn golden brown, adding 1/2 tablespoon salt to speed up the process.

7

Once the onions are golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste and mix well until the oil separates from the masala.

8

Add 1 tablespoon cumin powder and 1 tablespoon coriander powder to the masala and mix well.

9

Add 1/2 cup of water to the masala to help it cook properly.

10

Once the masala is ready, add the fried potatoes and crab, mixing them well with the masala and cooking for 10 minutes.

11

Add more water if a thinner gravy is desired, and cook until the oil separates from the crab mixture.
