Suya has gained international fame, with variations appearing in many countries, showcasing its adaptability and universal appeal.

Soak the skewers in water for 1 hour or more to prevent burning while grilling.
Add 1 teaspoon of ginger, 1 teaspoon of paprika powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder, 1 teaspoon of dried onions, and 1 teaspoon of salt to a bowl.
Add about 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix the ingredients together.
Use 800g of thinly sliced beef sirloin steak, cut into sizes suitable for skewering.
Add the mixed ingredients to the beef and keep the rest aside for later use.
Cover the beef with cling film and marinate for at least 1 hour.
Transfer the marinated beef to skewers.
Coat the skewers with suya spice on a flat plate.
Grill in the oven for at least 30 minutes.
