Dry roast puffed rice in a thick bottom pan until crispy on medium flame and transfer to another container.

Coarsely powder the cardamom seeds.

In the same pan, add jaggery and 2 tbsp of water. Cook on low medium flame, stirring until the jaggery syrup reaches string consistency.

Add cardamom powder and stir.

Add puffed rice little by little while stirring until all is coated with jaggery syrup.

Turn off the stove and start making laddus while the mixture is still hot.

Wet your palm lightly with water, take a small portion of the mixture, and roll into a ball. Repeat, wetting your hands as needed.
