Take a bowl for measurement and add 5 cups of puffed rice.

In a kadhai, melt 1 teaspoon of ghee on medium to low heat.

Add 1.5 bowls of jaggery into the melted ghee, breaking it up to help it melt faster.

Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the jaggery melts completely.

Add crushed ginger to the melted jaggery and mix well for 2-3 minutes.

Check if the jaggery syrup is ready by dropping a bit into water; it should harden slightly when pressed.

Turn off the gas once the syrup is ready and mix in half of the puffed rice, combining well.

After mixing, add the remaining puffed rice and mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.

While the mixture is still warm, take a little water in your hands to prevent sticking and shape the mixture into small balls (laddus).

Continue shaping until all the mixture is formed into laddus.
