  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. 1Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. 2In a food processor, combine the pitted dates, almond butter, coconut flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. 3Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base layer.
  4. 4In a small saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. 5Pour the melted chocolate over the date mixture in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. 6Refrigerate the bars for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is set.
  7. 7Once set, remove the bars from the baking dish using the parchment paper.
  8. 8Cut into bars or squares as desired.
  9. 9Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  1. 1Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. 2In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste.
  3. 3Add the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and salt to the dates and blend until smooth.
  4. 4In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and chopped peanuts.
  5. 5Pour the date mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  6. 6Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, melt the coconut oil and dark chocolate chips together until fully melted and combined.
  3. 3Add the cocoa powder and salt to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. 4Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  5. 5Pour a small amount of the chocolate mixture into the bottom of each liner, just enough to cover the bottom.
  6. 6Add a spoonful of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer in each liner.
  7. 7Pour more of the chocolate mixture on top of the peanut butter layer until the liners are filled.
  8. 8Refrigerate the muffin tin for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  9. 9Once set, remove the cups from the muffin tin and enjoy!
  10. 10Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
