Mix ground pork, ground beef, grated onion, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, black pepper, and chilli powder in a bowl.
Add egg and rusk (or breadcrumbs) to the meat mixture and combine until well blended.
Shape the mixture into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
Fry the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix flour with boiled water to create a gravy, adding black pepper and garlic powder to taste.
Pour the gravy over the meatballs in the skillet and simmer until thickened.
