Coconut cream adds richness while being dairy-free.
Separate 10 egg yolks from the egg whites and reserve the whites.
Add 1 and 1/3 cups of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon to the yolks.
Whisk the mixture for about 8-10 minutes until it reaches a light yellow ribbony stage.
Add 1 cup of brandy and 2/3 cup of vodka to the yolk mixture and mix well.
Set up a double boiler and stir the mixture constantly until it reaches 130°F, about 15 minutes.
Strain the mixture into a measuring cup set in an ice bath to cool and catch any egg particles.
Add vanilla extract and let the mixture chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight before using.
To make a snowball cocktail, shake 2 ounces of the homemade advocaat with 1/2 ounce of lime juice and top with Fever-Tree spiced orange ginger ale.
