Originating from the Netherlands, Advocaat is a traditional Dutch liqueur made from eggs, sugar, and brandy. It is often enjoyed during festive occasions, especially around the holidays, and is sometimes likened to eggnog. Advocaat has gained popularity beyond the Netherlands, with variations appearing in other countries, but its rich, creamy texture and sweet flavor remain a hallmark of this beloved drink.

Coconut cream offers a dairy-free option while milk is a more economical choice.
In a mixing bowl, put 1 whole egg and separate the yolks from 7 other eggs, keeping the whites for later use.
Beat the egg yolks and the whole egg until the mixture is thick and paste-like.
Gradually add 350 grams of powdered sugar to the egg mixture, mixing well.
Add 14 ounces of condensed milk to the mixture and stir until combined.
Pour in 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract and mix well.
Slowly incorporate 200 milliliters of pure ethanol into the mixture, stirring continuously.
Transfer the mixture into a jar or bottle for storage.
Let the Advocaat stand in the refrigerator for one week to thicken before consuming.
After one week, shake the jar well before serving.
Serve in a shot glass, approximately 30 milliliters per serving.
