1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup chopped scallion
1 lime
1 cup shrimp or vegetable stock

Combine Old Bay seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, scotch bonnet pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.

Thoroughly mix the seasoning and shrimp together.

Refrigerate the seasoned shrimp for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to develop.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan until it reaches smoking point.

Add the shrimp to the hot oil and cook for about 4 minutes, stirring to prevent burning.

After 4 minutes, add chopped scallion to the shrimp and continue to stir.

Remove the pan from heat after the scallion has been added.

If desired, add 1 cup of shrimp or vegetable stock to the pan and allow to simmer for 15 to 30 seconds.

Serve the shrimp with chopped scallion and a squeeze of fresh lime.
