Alfredo Sauce

½ lb. fettuccine
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Salt & pepper to taste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.

In a small pan, add the butter and melt over low heat.

Add minced garlic and cook over low heat until softened, about 30 seconds.

Add heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 3 minutes to thicken the cream.

Remove from heat, add in the grated parmesan, and stir until melted and smooth.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the fettuccine into the Alfredo sauce and toss until fettuccine is coated.

Sprinkle a little parmesan on top of fettuccine if desired.

Serve warm immediately.
