2 potatoes
1 tbsp oil
1 medium sized onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 piece of ginger
2 green chilies
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
chopped coriander leaves
mint chutney
sweet tamarind chutney
chopped onions
chopped tomatoes
chili powder
amchur powder
nylon sev

Soak 1/2 cup of dried peas overnight.

Add 2 potatoes to the soaked peas and pressure cook for about 3-4 whistles on medium flame.

Remove the potatoes, peel them, and drop them back into the pressure cooker.

Mash the peas and potatoes together and keep aside.

Add 1 tbsp oil to a pan and heat it.

Add 1 medium sized onion finely chopped, 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped, and 1 piece of ginger chopped.

Add 2 green chilies chopped and sauté until the onions turn golden.

Transfer the sautéed onions to a mixer jar and add chopped tomatoes.

In the same pan, add 2 teaspoons of oil and heat it.

Add 1 teaspoon of kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder, 1 teaspoon of chaat masala powder, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt; mix well.

Add 1/2 cup of water and cook the masala for about 10 minutes.

Add 2 cups of water and the whole peas that were set aside earlier; close and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.

Crush the small puris and place them on a plate.

Pour the peas masala over the crushed puris.

Add mint chutney and sweet tamarind chutney.

Top with chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, sprinkle chili powder, chaat masala, amchur powder, and nylon sev.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
