Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2Cook lasagna noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. 3In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté chopped onion and garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4Add ground beef and ground pork to the skillet; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper; simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. 6In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper; mix until smooth.
  7. 7Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  8. 8Layer cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
