Malaysian Beef Rendang

1 Teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon smooth peanut butter
1 jar Mak Tok's Rendang chilli paste

In a bowl, marinate the beef with a jar of Mak Tok's rendang chilli paste. Add water to the jar and shake all the excess rendang paste. Pour them into the bowl and mix well with marinated beef. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

Heat up a pan. Add the marinated beef to the pan and gently cook it on medium heat for 3 minutes.

Add coconut cream and smooth peanut butter to the pan. Turn the heat to low and gently stir the beef rendang for 7 minutes.

Season the beef rendang with salt and continue stirring for a further 5 minutes or until the rendang is thick and slightly dry.

Remove the beef rendang from the heat and serve with some warm rice.
