Melt a generous amount of butter in a pan.
Put the dressed crab into a big bowl.
Season the crab with salt.
Add the juice of half a lemon to the crab mixture.
Add a little bit of cayenne pepper to the crab mixture.
Add nutmeg to the crab mixture.
Add regular black pepper to the crab mixture.
Add a teaspoon of English mustard to the crab mixture.
Pour some melted butter over the crab mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs with cheese and the remaining melted butter.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Assemble the mixture by either placing it back in the crab shell or serving it in a ramekin.
Bake in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and serve on a plate with a bit of garden salad.
