200g Pork Belly
10 Dried Shitake Mushroom (soaked in 200ml hot water)
200g Enoki Mushroom
1 part Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh Packet
3 litres water
200ml mushroom water
Slightly less than 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Ground white pepper
Lettuce
Chopped cili padi
Soy sauce

Soak the dried shitake mushrooms in 200ml of hot water and keep the water for later use.

In a pot, add 3 litres of water and bring it to a boil.

Add the pork ribs and pork belly to the boiling water.

Add the soaked shitake mushrooms along with the mushroom water.

Add the Fu Zhok and the garlic to the pot.

Add 1 part of the Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh packet and season with soy sauce and ground white pepper.

Let the soup simmer for 1-2 hours until the meat is tender.

Serve the Bak Kut Teh with lettuce, chopped cili padi, soy sauce, and warm rice.
