In a frying pan, heat 4 tablespoons of ghee.
Add 5 cups of rice and fry until slightly golden.
In a separate pot, add water and bring to a boil.
Add the fried rice to the boiling water.
Cook until the rice is soft and water is absorbed.
In the same frying pan, add 4 tablespoons of jaggery and stir until dissolved.
Mix the jaggery syrup into the cooked rice.
Add 1 teaspoon of cardamom, 1 cup of cashews, and 1 cup of raisins to the mixture.
Stir well to combine all ingredients.
