1 medium red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 handful fresh mint, chopped
1 handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
cracked black pepper
sea salt
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
juice of 1/2 lemon
fresh coriander (optional)
sunflower oil for brushing

In a bowl, combine 1.5 pounds of minced lamb, 1 medium chopped red onion, and 2 crushed cloves of garlic.

Add a handful of chopped fresh mint and a handful of chopped flat leaf parsley to the mixture.

Incorporate 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, cracked black pepper, and sea salt into the mixture.

Knead the mixture with your hands until all ingredients are well combined.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into patties.

Place the patties on a plate and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt with the grated and drained cucumber.

Add the chopped fresh mint and optional fresh coriander to the yogurt mixture.
