1

Clean and gut the whole fish, then pat dry with paper towels.

2

In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, coriander, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

3

Rub the marinade generously over the fish, inside and out, ensuring it is well coated.

4

Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

5

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

6

Place the fish on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

7

While the fish is grilling, prepare a salsa by chopping fresh cilantro, green chilies, onion, and tomatoes in a bowl.

8

Add lime juice and a pinch of salt to the salsa, mixing well.

9

Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

10

Serve the grilled fish with the fresh salsa on top and lime wedges on the side.
