1 cup Yam (peeled & diced)
1 cup Plantain (chopped)
Water (as required)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt (as required)
2 tbsp Coconut (grated)
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Black Peppercorns
2 cup Black Chana (boiled)
1 tbsp Jaggery Powder
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Split Black Lentils
2 Dry Red Chillies
10-15 Curry Leaves

Cook the diced yam and chopped plantain in water with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt until tender.

Prepare the coconut paste by blending grated coconut, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, and water until smooth.

In a separate pot, combine the boiled black chana and jaggery powder, mixing well.

For tempering, heat coconut oil and add mustard seeds, split black lentils, dry red chillies, and curry leaves. Sauté until fragrant, then add the grated coconut and mix well.

Combine the cooked yam and plantain with the coconut paste and tempering, stirring to combine.
