1

In a bowl, add 1.5 to 2 cups of all-purpose flour.

2

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt to the flour.

3

Mix the dry ingredients together.

4

Gradually add water and mix until you achieve a batter-like consistency.

5

Let the batter rest for 1.5 to 2 hours until it rises.

6

After resting, add 2350 grams of butter to the batter and knead until smooth.

7

Cover the bowl and let it rise until it doubles in size, approximately 2 hours.

8

Heat oil in a deep pan over low heat.

9

After 2 hours, check the dough; it should have risen significantly.

10

Divide the dough into small balls.

11

Prepare garlic water by frying 5 to 6 garlic cloves in hot oil until golden brown.

12

In a bowl, mix 1 pinch of sugar, 1 pinch of salt, and 3 tablespoons of water; add the fried garlic to this mixture.

13

Dip the small dough balls into the garlic water.

14

Fry the dough balls in hot oil until they puff up and turn golden brown, about 1 to 1.5 minutes on each side.

15

Once fried, place the Lángos on a plate and drizzle with garlic water.

16

For presentation, flatten the Lángos on the plate and garnish with cream, crushed black pepper, and mozzarella cheese.
