Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Cointreau
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. 2Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. 3In a small bowl, mix together the honey, Cointreau, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. 4Brush the cut sides of the bananas with melted butter.
  5. 5Place the bananas cut side down on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
  6. 6Flip the bananas over and brush the honey-Cointreau mixture on the cut sides.
  7. 7Grill for an additional 2-3 minutes until the bananas are soft and caramelized.
  8. 8Remove the bananas from the grill and drizzle any remaining honey-Cointreau mixture over the top.
  9. 9Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  2. 2Slice the bananas in half lengthwise, leaving the peel on.
  3. 3Place the bananas on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. 4Sprinkle chocolate chips and mini marshmallows over the banana halves.

  6. 6Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of the chocolate and marshmallows.
