10 red chili (cabe rawit)
8 curly red chili
1 tomato

15 shallots
3 cm ginger
1 piece turmeric (kunyit)
1 teaspoon coriander seeds (ketumbar)
1 teaspoon pepper
salt to taste

1 liter water

Cut 1200 grams of beef into small cubes after washing it.

Crush lemongrass, and prepare 3 bay leaves and 4 kaffir lime leaves.

Blend 10 cloves of garlic, 15 shallots, 3 cm ginger, 1 piece of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds, and 1 teaspoon of pepper with enough water until smooth.

Heat enough vegetable oil in a pan and add the blended spices.

Sauté the spices along with the lemongrass, bay leaves, and kaffir lime leaves until fragrant and cooked.

Add the beef to the pan and stir until the beef changes color and is well mixed with the spices, about 5 minutes.

Pour in approximately 1 liter of water, and add salt, seasoning, and sugar to taste.

Cook until the liquid reduces to about one-third, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and flavor absorption.

Once the liquid has reduced, add the diced tomato and about 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, and stir well.

Cook again until the liquid reduces further and becomes thick, adjusting the taste as necessary.

When the sauce is thick and the dish is ready, serve hot.
