For making the boondi batter, mix 1 cup gram flour with 1/2 cup water.

For the sugar syrup, add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a pan.

Boil the sugar and water mixture until the sugar dissolves completely.

Add some milk to the sugar syrup and remove it from heat after it becomes frothy and sticky.

Add cardamom powder, edible camphor, and food color to the syrup and mix well.

Heat some ghee and fry cashews and raisins in it.

In a bowl, mix gram flour and water little by little to make a batter like dosa batter.

Heat oil in a pan and pour the batter through a ladle to make small droplets (boondi).

Once the boondi is ready, take it out and put it in the sugar syrup, mixing well.

Repeat the process for the remaining batter.

Take a handful of boondi and keep it aside.

Crush the remaining boondi in a mixer with the sugar syrup and mix well.

Add some cashews, raisins, and cardamom to the mixture and mix well.

Apply some water to your hands and shape the mixture into laddus.

Allow the boondi laddus to set and they are ready to serve.
