Cut idli into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Add the sauce mixture to the pan and stir well to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry.

Pour the cornstarch slurry into the pan and stir until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

Add idli pieces to the pan, gently tossing to coat them in the sauce.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Garnish with chopped spring onion before serving.

Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.
