Oil (for deep frying)
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp Ginger, Garlic & Green Chillies (crushed)
2 Spring Onion Bulbs (chopped)
1/4 Capsicum (diced)
1/4 Red Bell Pepper (diced)
1/2 cup Water
2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
Salt (as per taste)
Black Pepper (crushed)
2 Red Chillies (diced)
1 & 1/2 tbsp Cornflour
1 & 1/2 tbsp Water
Spring Onion Greens (chopped)
White Sesame Seeds (toasted)

Deep fry the Idli in oil until crispy and golden brown.

In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and add the crushed ginger, garlic, and green chillies.

Add the chopped spring onion bulbs, diced capsicum, and diced red bell pepper to the pan and sauté.

Pour in 1/2 cup of water and add 2 tbsp of light soy sauce, salt, and crushed black pepper to taste.

Add the diced red chillies and mix well.

In a small bowl, mix 1 & 1/2 tbsp of cornflour with 1 & 1/2 tbsp of water to create a slurry, then add it to the pan to thicken the sauce.

Finally, add the fried Idli to the pan, toss to coat, and garnish with chopped spring onion greens and toasted white sesame seeds.
