Mix the ingredients slowly at first to avoid flour flying out, then increase speed until the mixture doubles in volume and resembles whipped cream.

Prepare a baking pan lined with parchment paper, specifically a low pan for making bem casado.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake the batter for 10 to 25 minutes, monitoring closely to ensure it doesn't brown too much.

Remove the baked cake from the oven when it is lightly golden but not dark, allowing it to cool slightly.
