Shahi Daal

500 gram Maash Daal (soaked 4 hours)
400 gram Boneless Chicken
2 Onion (chopped)
3 Tomato (chopped)
1 Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
2 tbsp Ginger (sliced)
1 Green Chilli (chopped)
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
4 Egg
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Salt
1 1/2 tbsp Coriander Cumin Powder
1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
1/2 tbsp Button Red Chilli (crushed)

Soak the Maash Daal for 4 hours.

In a pot, heat oil and add chopped onions, sauté until golden brown.

Add garlic paste, ginger paste, and sliced ginger; sauté for a few minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

Stir in the boneless chicken and cook until it's no longer pink.

Add the soaked Maash Daal and enough water to cover the mixture; bring to a boil.

Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander cumin powder, and kasuri methi; mix well.

Reduce heat and simmer until the daal is cooked through and tender.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add them to the daal, stirring gently.

Finish with chopped green chilli, sliced green bell pepper, and crushed button red chilli; cook for a few more minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
