1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp brown sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
2 tsp fast-acting yeast
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup warm water (optional)

Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and yeast in a food processor.

Pulse until mixture resembles fine crumbs.

Add desiccated coconut and pulse again.

Warm coconut milk in the microwave until lukewarm.

Add warm coconut milk to the mixture and pulse to form dough.

Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth for about 2-3 minutes.

Divide dough into two pieces and roll each into a circle about 8 inches in diameter.
