1 lb beef

2 stalks celery
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon thyme
1 lime
1 medium bell pepper
2 medium potatoes
8 cups water
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Cut beef into cubes and marinate with lime juice, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
