8 cups water
1 cup macaroni
2 cups cabbage
2 tablespoons butter
1 lb chicken

Welcome to Ma's kitchen, today I'm making squash soup.

I have here carrots, scallion, turnips, and squash. I'm using four squash.

I'm using a seasoning called Rico to give this soup a tasty flavor.

I tied thyme and parsley together for easy removal later.

I'm turning on the fire to medium-high and putting the squash in the pot.

Once the water is boiling, I'm adding the squash and letting it boil for 15 to 20 minutes.

After boiling, I'm blending the squash with some of the cooking water in a NutriBullet to make it liquid.

I'm pouring the blended squash back into the pot and adding a bit more water to avoid it being too thick.

Now I'm adding the tied thyme, parsley, potatoes, celery, carrots, Maggie seasoning, and garlic.

I'm letting it boil for about 10 to 15 minutes and skimming off any foam that forms on top.

Next, I'm adding macaroni and waiting to add more vegetables since they cook quickly.

I'm also adding cabbage and scallion at the end.

Now I'm adding butter to enhance the flavor of the soup.

Finally, I'm adding the cooked chicken to the soup, which will give it a great taste.
