Oats add fiber and are a healthier binder.

Homemade sauce can be fresher and lower in sodium.
Grab the ground turkey and ground beef.
Add Haitian epis, chopped bell pepper, red pepper, and a little bit of parsley to the meat.
Chop a clove of garlic and add it to the mixture.
Add black pepper, garlic powder, adobo, and a bit of seasoning from the package.
Pour in half of a lime's juice.
Use one baggie to squeeze out all the liquid from the bread before adding it to the mixture.
Add one egg to the mixture.
Incorporate all the ingredients using your hands.
Let the mixture sit for about 20 minutes while preparing rice.
Use a spoon to scoop out the mixture and form medium-sized meatballs using both hands.
Coat each meatball in flour, shaking off the excess flour after coating.
Heat oil for frying and add the meatballs one by one.
Fry the meatballs for about 3 to 4 minutes, flipping them to cook evenly.
Once cooked, remove the meatballs and prepare to serve with sauce and rice and beans.
